According to the charity Mind, 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem of some kind each year in England. Each year, mental ill health is responsible for 72 million working days lost and costs £34.9 billion annually.
Employers have a legal duty of care to their employees. This includes providing a safe working environment and taking reasonable care to prevent mental or physical harm that may occur in the workplace. The Mental Health First Aid course will equip key team members with the knowledge and skills to support colleagues and the general public within the workplace.
Equip your team with the skills and confidence to support mental health in the workplace. Our two-day Mental Health First Aider course qualifies candidates to identify signs, provide non-judgmental support, and guide individuals towards appropriate help.

Please be aware that this course focuses on employees in the workplace and covers subjects that some people may find distressing, including suicide and self-harm. If an attendee feels overwhelmed, they can leave the course anytime. Delegates must be 16 or over to attend this course.
