This course is one of the most widely respected health and safety qualifications. It is relevant to every workplace & designed for managers, supervisors & team leaders, and anyone with health & safety management responsibilities within their business.
The National Educational Board in Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH) General Certificate is one of the most widely respected health & safety qualifications.
The NEBOSH National General Certificate suits managers, supervisors and participants with health and safety management responsibilities.
The certificate will help anyone looking to progress in their health and safety career, including increasing productivity, boosting confidence in their role and helping to improve the health and safety culture of businesses.
There are no formal entry requirements.
The NEBOSH National General Certificate course consists of two units.
Unit NG1: Management of Health and Safety
Unit NG2: Risk Assessment
The participant will learn to manage health and safety effectively, confidently conduct risk assessments, and identify and control common workplace hazards. Learning outcomes will also include the following:
The participant will also partake in incident investigations and be able to assess and evaluate risks, recognise a range of common hazards, and recommend further control measures. They will also have the skills and confidence to impact and influence the health and safety culture within the business.
The NEBOSH National General Certificate consists of two assessments.
The cost of the examination is included when booking the classroom course.
If booking the eLearning, the exams will be an additional fee and must be booked separately.
For classroom courses, virtual or physical, it is nine days plus revision & exam
For eLearning it is approx. 110-120 hours of self led study.
