This 1-day course can also be used to gain your CSCS green labourer’s card.

The CITB Health & Safety Awareness course suits anyone working on a construction site.
It provides a strong foundation on the importance of good health & safety on site, ensuring candidates know how to look after themselves and others and know what to do should they think anyone’s health and safety is at risk.

There are no formal entry requirements.
However, the CITB scheme rules state that candidates must have a good understanding of both written & spoken English.
This course is made up of several modules covering:
Upon completing the CITB Health and Safety Awareness course candidates will understand their individual health and safety responsibilities and have a strong foundation in health and safety knowledge, enabling them to work safely on site & prevent accidents through safer working practices
This course is assessed by an end-of-course examination which is made up of 25 multiple-choice questions & lasts for 30 minutes.
