The CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) course is a 2-day course for those who have, or are about to, acquire supervisory responsibilities.
It introduces health, safety, welfare and environmental issues for those requiring an understanding of their legal responsibilities relevant to their work activities.
The CITB SSSTS course is designed for building, civil engineering and construction supervisors.
The CITB SSSTS course is designed for building, civil engineering and construction supervisors.
Participants will learn all the relevant legislation affecting safe working and develop a thorough understanding of the responsibility for workers' welfare on-site.
The CITB SSSTS is valid for five years, and will need to be renewed by completing the CITB Site SSSTS Refresher Course.
Upon successful completion of the CITB SSSTS, participants will learn the following:

Participants will be able to supervise a workforce more efficiently.
Participants will be assessed on their involvement throughout the training. The assessment will also include a presentation and 30 question exam.
